Don't forget your business cards and company literature!

Our meetings take place on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, 6pm - 8pm

Full details of forthcoming meetings will be posted below, but why not make a note of future dates now?

Or if you'd like to receive a regular reminder as well as other useful business news,

please send your details to secretary@ccoc.org.uk

Non-members are welcome to attend up to 2 meetings in any 12 month period free of charge,

after which there will be a fee of £10 per event, or we hope you'll decide to join!

"How can Apprenticeships be good for my business?

The February network meeting is taking place during National Apprenticeship Week (6-10 February 2012).

Terry Chappell from the National Apprenticeship Service will be leading a talk on Apprenticeships and providing you with
critical insight on how this form of recruitment can benefit your business.

After 30 years as a trainer and business consultant, Terry joined the National Apprenticeship Service two years ago and since October 2011
has been the Employer Account Manager for Gloucestershire. A county resident, Terry works with local businesses and organisations to
identify the benefits for them to employ apprentices and capitalise on relevant Government subsidies. Terry is a keen advocate of working with young people and helps to promote apprenticeships through business networks and ensure appropriate training provision is
available when required.

Helping Terry bring the evening alive, will be James Taylor (Retail apprentice at Gardiners) and Hannah Mills (Hospitality apprentice at
Cricklade Hotel), both of whom will be attending with their apprenticeship mentor

Karen Bunting (Cirencester College) to answer your questions.
